Health Support Criteria

Heart Health

Individuals with sufficient dietary intakes of antioxidant vitamins, certain minerals, and several plant-based compounds exhibit a lower-than-average risk of cardiovascular disease. This criterion examines several nutrients, including the recently discovered cardioprotective powerhouses iodine and vitamin D, each known to benefit the heart and cardiovascular system by reducing oxidative stress and suppressing inflammation. This criterion has been revised by adding vitamin K2 as an important component to the analysis.

Does the product contain vitamin D, vitamin K2, iodine, vitamin E (including alpha tocopherol and gamma [or mixed] tocopherols), beta carotene, coenzyme Q10, calcium, magnesium, carnitine or acetyl-l-carnitine, resveratrol, and lycopene at potencies up to 100% of the potencies for those nutrients and nutrient categories in the Blended Standard?
